Mental health is a term relating to our psychological, emotional and social wellbeing and the way it impacts they way we think, feel, act and behave. It is common for people to suffer from issues with their mental health. Some of the most common mental health problems in the UK include depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.

- General anxiety disorder: 6 in 100
- Post-traumatic stress disorder: 4 in 100
- Depression: 3 in 100
- Phobias: 2 in 100
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder: 1 in 100
- Panic disorder: less than 1 in 100
- Depression: long lasting low mood that impacts your day to day life
- General anxiety disorder: regular or uncontrollable worries about a variety of things
- Post-traumatic stress disorder: a mental health problem most commonly caused after experiencing traumatic events. Sometimes categorised as an anxiety disorder
- Phobias: extreme anxiety triggered by a particular thing, situation or object
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder: a diagnoses relating to obsessions- unwelcome thoughts, worries, urges, doubts or images- and compulsions- a repetition of an activity to soothe the obsessions
- Panic disorder: regular or frequent panic attacks without a clear trigger
